Build a rectangular backboard from solid wood or plywood around 24 inches wide and 30 inches tall. Drill evenly spaced holes along two horizontal rows, then insert ½-inch wooden dowels cut about 12 inches long, glued in place so they protrude outward. The dowels become individual magazine slots.
