5. Felt Snowflake Wreath Accents

5

If you already have a winter wreath, you can refresh it for the new season with a few felt snowflakes. If you don’t have a wreath, this is the perfect excuse to start one.

Take a simple grapevine, straw, or foam wreath base and cut a dozen or so small felt snowflakes in varying sizes. Attach them to the wreath with hot glue, clustering some together and scattering others more loosely. Add sprigs of evergreen, pinecones, or a velvet bow for a finished look.

The most charming wreaths mix materials, so don’t be afraid to combine natural elements with your felt creations. A grapevine wreath with white snowflakes, real pine, and a plaid ribbon is a classic for good reason.

This project takes about an hour and works wonderfully as a weekend afternoon craft. The best part is that you can swap out the snowflakes each year or add to them as your collection grows.
