4. Pressed Dried Flower and Botanicals Pumpkin
Pressed botanical designs introduce subtle organic patterns without introducing bright, competing colors.
- Materials: White craft pumpkin or real white ghost pumpkin, pressed dried botanicals (such as mini fern fronds, baby’s breath, dried chamomile, and cream petals), matte Mod Podge, soft flat paintbrush.
- How to Make It: Lay out your dried florals on a flat surface to plan the placement. Apply a thin layer of matte Mod Podge directly onto a section of the pumpkin. Carefully press the delicate botanicals onto the wet adhesive using tweezers or clean fingertips. Gently brush another thin coat of Mod Podge over the top of each plant, working from the center outward to smooth down fragile edges. Allow to dry clear for a botanical specimen display.
