5. Botanical Mason Jar Lanterns

Bring warm, flickering light to autumn evenings with botanical glass lanterns. As candlelight shines through the delicate tissue of the pressed leaves, it casts a soft, amber glow across dining tables, fireplace mantels, or cozy entryways.

  • Materials: Clean glass mason jars or cylindrical vases, pressed fall leaves, matte decoupage glue (Mod Podge), foam sponge brush, tea lights.
  • How to make: Apply a thin layer of decoupage medium to the outside of the glass. Smooth pressed leaves over the wet adhesive, pressing firmly from the center outwards to eliminate air bubbles. Apply a second sealing coat over the entire surface, allow it to dry clear, and insert a flickering candle inside.
