4. Handmade Pressed Leaf Pillar Candles
Transform plain cream or white pillar candles into rustic centerpiece lighting. Using the heat transfer method, you can gently melt pressed leaves directly into the surface wax of a pillar candle without requiring glue.
- Materials: Plain pillar candles, small pressed leaves (such as birch, fern, or small oak), parchment paper, heat gun or hair dryer.
- How to make: Position your flat leaf on the candle’s exterior. Wrap a sheet of parchment paper tightly around the candle, holding it firm. Wave a heat gun on medium heat over the parchment until you see the candle wax melt slightly and turn translucent over the leaf. Let it cool, peel back the parchment, and enjoy a seamless botanical finish.
